On a serious note though...

I feel like this frequently and it has kept me from entering into relationships.

Don't feel that you are alone, but at the same time... don't let it get the best of you because if you don't risk you never can gain... and gaining is always worth the risk.

I always ran from freaks that I felt love from. I let them down nicey nice. I know what it's like to be them too - being that I am a bit of a freak too.

ask yourself why you are scared. if it is just because you have this genuine love or attachment to someone, and it's so real it's scary - just take your time. grow with the other person slowly; set the pace. we're all young here, why rush things? But always, ALWAYS tell a person how you feel. Be honest. Don't regret not saying something!

ok chill vix. don't trash the only thing that makes me smile everyday. i have had my heart put through a meat slicer, into a blender, flushed down the toilet, and, well you get the picture. i'll never give up on that feeling of love inside.

i'm single right now. and even after getting screwed a couple times in my life I still know love is the best.

Love for family, for friends, even pets. It's all good. Love for a special someone, well, that takes time. ya gotta have the right kind of person. the right someone. i haven't met her. but i will. i love her right now. she'll be worth the wait.

Here is something to consider involving two aspects of self - the autonomous self and the relational self. I'll simplify as much as possible.

Our autonomous self puts our own interests and needs first. Our relational self puts maintaining the relationship ahead of personal autonomy.

In a healthy person the two selfs become integrated so that we can maintain our own individual identity and maintain close relationships similtaneously.

Some people develop such a fear of losing autonomy that they will deliberately sabatoge a relationship or unconsciously break it off, so as not to threaten their autonomy.

Conversely, there are people who have such fear of losing their relational self, that they go to any length to maintain a relationship - even if abuse or violence is involved.

The integration begins at toddlerhood, faces another crises juncture at adolescence and continues throughout our life.
