Why is it stealing just because it's a funny topic? If Ron and Fez (who were good to Chick and Chick's always said good things about them) talk about toothpaste and a few people talk about it on another show, why is that so terrible? How many times did Chick talk about something (i.e., a news item, gossip on celebs) and then other shows would talk about it? I don't remember the world spinning out of control whenever that happened.

So the cowbell was discussed... what about if one of us brings it up at the office and we get a few laughs from people... is THAT so-called "stealing" too?

Topics are topics and talking about things makes it interesting for everybody. No one "owns" anything or else the airwaves would be cluttered with lawsuits.

We're a savvy bunch and I think we know funny when we hear it. So if someone else finds the same thing funny and talks about it.... it's sinful? I mean, come on!

We get to have funny radio almost all day, depending on who you listen to. Just be glad to have those choices and enjoy them!
