It would be impossible to list all the people I wish to thank for such a memorable evening this past Friday night at the Big ASS night of Fights, but obviously Ron and Fez themselves head the list. They are masters of comedy, and two of the nicest guys on the planet in my book. It was great to watch them work the crowd like they did, and they made me laugh myself silly. Simply the best.
The entire WNEW staff, the girls, the employees of the Downtown Club, and all the fans made the night a memorable one indeed. I am so glad that I made the trip and was a part of it all.
My only Jeer of the night goes to the low-lifes who heckled and shouted obscenities and vulgarities at the young lady who sang the National Anthem.
1) No amount of booze gives you the right to taunt a woman who is giving it her all and trying her best, and
2) Showing such complete and utter disrespect for this country's National Anthem is something that will never sit right with this proud American.
The guilty ones know who they are, and should forever be ashamed of themselves.

Dude, you couldn't be more right...there was one particular asshole right over by me, cursing and yelling at whichever fighter was towards my corner, as well as grabbing Too Cute's ass. No excuses, we're supposed to be adults...I just hope most of those assholes aren't board members...
It's not funny, my ass is on fire...

There were a few people that were being rowdy the whole night and they were not from the board. So i guessing it was them.

I totally agree. I was being rowdy the whole night. I at least had enough respect to not yell during the national anthem. She did a great job singing and deserved a big round of applause. During the singing ronny had to tell fez to take his hat off.

I totally agree with your comments Gvac. I found it so rude and disrespectful when people were booing her. I had to tell some people to be quite when i was up on the balcony. Being that drunk doesnt give you an excuse to act like that.
I also find it uncomfortable when some decides to just touch females for no apparent reason like that.
Someone should have broken that person's arm for doing that.

Gvac no more... you are so totally right. I was standing ove by the bar and there were a couple of people who were yelling during the Anthem. but then manner and respect follow each other and those people took the wrong turns

Gvac,
You're right... They are a Great Team and i enjoy their personalities very much!
You are right on about anybody heckling the girl who sang the National Anthem, I felt she was very good...and people forget 9/11 pretty easily...
That's what alcohol does but as long as there was nothing thrown then it's not that bad...
Don't like to write people off, especially younger people...
Not after all the stupid crap that i pulled when i was growing up...

It was a great show and I guess it's to be expected to have idiots...For the most part the crowd was cool....Maybe have a quota on how many guys though.

Right on!
I'd like to add another Jeer to those who heckeled Paul Bond. That was so uncalled for. He was just out there trying his best. Poor fella.
Hehe...you know I love ya, Paul!
