they did it in 'terminator 1 and 2', they did it in 'gone in 60 seconds' (the nick cage version, i don't know about the original) and they did it at the end of highlanders 2, 3 and 4...so what's up with fighting the last battle in a factory? is it the dark setting? the myterious look of the scene that just reminds you of driving down the turnpike? i don't get it myself, anyone else notice this? and anyone else remember any good...um factory battles?

or am i just thinking too much into this :P

must be the look of all the pipes and such

Jet Li's "The One" is another final factory fight scene

"The Last Dragon" was sort of a factory fight scene there at the end. Or was it a warehouse

Oh, and "Drunken Master II". Jackie Chan did that "fall on the hot coals" stunt

Now I'm starving

What are they gonna do now?

How about Empire Strikes Back?

Wasn't that a carbonite factory where Luke and Vader fought? It definitely had the look and feel of a factory.

Andre rules!

Watch MST3K. You'll be surprised at the number of movies that end in a warehouse, factory, etc. It's one of the biggest cliches in the book. Probably because there are a lot of (empty) boxes to throw and places for people to hide to build up the suspense.

But yes, sometimes it's over used. For example in the movie "Four Gunfighters" ends in a shoot out in a warehouse despite the fact that it takes place in 1862 and closer to a desert than a town. It even has metal pipes in it.

Ikeaboy beat me to it...I was going to offer up "Space Mutiny"...a brilliant movie about a life in a spaceship that apparently looks like the boiler room of a warehouse. MORE RAILING!

Don't forget the carpet Zambonies of death!

When about to crash while driving Carpet Zamboni of Death, please keep your scream of terror brief, then take a deep breath and calm yourself before getting up slowly and performing a jump roll off the vehicle.

And didn't she die in the last scene? How is she at the computer?

And didn't she die in the last scene? How is she at the computer?Pooter, Captain Santa Claus and Major Sting's space ship is an Equal Opportunity Employer so just because she was killed, doesn't mean she should be descriminated against for job interviews.
