Dear Horde King;
Why do men usually want what the next guy has? Or , why do they want something different than what they already have?

because satisfaction equals the stagnation of the soul. when you don't want things any more, whats the purpose of going on? its just that some people desire the wrong things, and channel them the wrong way

GAIA - The coveting phenomenon isn't limited to men but men tend to act on it more.
Some religions even include prohibitions against coveting into their ethical code. "Don't covet your neighbor's wife, possessions or anything he has."
No mention is made of not coveting your neighbor's husband (although that's most likely due to the systematic oppression of women by every major religion - it created a climate where men can deny women have sexual feelings).
What usually happens is that a guy is happy at first with something until he realizes that the object of his affection is not the perfect ideal he built up in his mind. Rather than addressing the probable explanation of unrealistic or impossible expectations, they turn instead to something new, decieving themselves that with the new person or possession everything will be perfect.
