We'd like to give the boys gifts, and whenever it gets mentioned, people ask how they can contribute, so if you want to, we are accepting donations.

If you would like to donate to the gifts via paypal, send your money to info@ronfez.net. Please include your board name in the message so we know who you are, since we don't necessarily know everyone's real names in association with board name.

If you would like to donate by check, please PM/IM/e-mail me for my mailing info and to let me know how much you will be donating, so we can keep track of how much we will have to spend on them this year.

If you would like to donate by cash, you can brave the postal system and follow the instructions for paying by check.

If you wish to slide large envelopes full of money under the table, let me know which Italian restaurant to meet you at.





If you would like to help decide the gifts, you may contact me via e-mail/PM/IM as well or catch me in the chat room in the evenings and share your ideas. Please note that members of the Ron and Fez radio program do read the board, so do not post your ideas in the thread. And please don't tell me your ideas are cigars, oreos or other gifts that are obvious, since we figure other people will cover them. All ideas will be taken into consideration, but actual gifts will be decided on multiple factors, including but not limited to coolness factor and finances raised.

But when the callers start calling in wanting to discuss their local team's issues, Ron says "I'm not gonna fucking talk about sports all day" and changes the subject. Brilliant.

The fat was purchased "to be commercialized in European (cosmetology) laboratories," he said.

The prosecutor's indictment said the gang allegedly targeted farmers and indigenous people on remote Andean roads, tricking them by offering jobs before killing them.

One reported killing took place in mid-September to remove human tissue for trafficking.

The trafficking network could be linked to 60 individual disappearances in the central Andean region, although the ties could not be confirmed.

Police began arrests after discovering early this month a container with human fat that was being shipped to Lima from the Andean city of Huanuco, some 400 kilometers northeast of Lima.

Signs of "an international network trafficking human fat" first surfaced about two months ago, according to General Felix Burga, head of the police criminal division.

Peruvian press cited him as saying the fat can be sold for 15,000 dollars per gallon (3.8 litres) in European countries.

The alleged plot revived the Andean legend of the "Pishtacos," white foreigners who were said to suck the fat out of people travelling on lonely roads at night, making fine soaps, lubricants, healing salves and beauty creams out of the tissue.

What is your feeling on this? The whole area is practically below sea level anyway, and it should not exist as a dry land mass. Because these levees failed and flooing occured, should the US Army Corps. of Engineers be liable? The potential for lawsuits as a result of this ruling is possible in the trillions of dollars.
