I get your second point that they're trying to discourage our basing it on the train. I never disputed that fact, so I don't know why you're arguing like I did. The conductor is already there, it's not costing them more to collect cash there. I'll give it may take him a few moments more, and also concede a small surcharge is fair, but doubling up the cost is again taking dvantage of someone who has no option at that point except to get off the train, buy a ticket at a machine and then wait for the next train. I just think doubling the cost is excessive and don't see how people argue it isn't.
