Kiper was on Mike & Mike this morning and he was saying that he though that if 2 of the top 3 now stumble before the end of the year that he could see TCU, providing they win out, make it to the title game.
He was also playing devil's advocate on whether or not Boise St should reamin ahead of Oregon if they both win the rest of their games.
Hopefully Alabama destroys LSU tomorrow so we can stop hearing how they have a shot at the title.
I just looked at their schedule and up until this point they've only played 2 teams with a winning record ( UF and Auburn ) and went 1-1 in those games.
There are only 2 other teams on their schedule for the rest of the year with winning records at this point ( Alabama and Ole Miss ).
Through the first 8 games their opponents' combined records are 33-34 and 8 of those wins belong to UF which beat them.
If you add in their remaining opponents' records, including Alabama's 8 wins, it's 53-56 for the year.
A loss tomorrow should drop them way out of the BCS picture.
Wow, anyone watching the game tonight? Boise looks like shit and against a team(La Tech) that is a yearly whipping boy of SEC teams.
Yeah making a real good case for being included in NC talk there boise, even if they hold on I think the point is over, they look like a 3rd rate team at best.

Normally I would agree with you, but if they pull out the win they should still be considered. Other ranked teams have struggled with unranked teams.

This is a severely crap team, and Iowa is the only team I have really seen struggle against unranked teams.
Boise plays a shit schedule and this game proves it, I would rather see TCU get in above boise and if oregon wins out then they will end up higher than boise so we can hear them scream.

That's true. But I think that at some point Boise should get more credit. Hell, give them a tougher schedule and see how they do with it.
I haven't said anything stupid enough to get a mod quote ...............yet.

They are trying. They have called 10 schools so far offering to play them. They say no. Boise St. then offers to travel and the other team doesnt have to do a Home and Home thing. They still get turned down. Teams just dont want to play them. I wouldnt either. If im Texas and I know that 1 loss could ruin my national chapionship chances, why risk playing Boise St.?

That's just simply ridiculous. Nobody is dodging Boise St.
You think UF wouldn't rather play Boise St at home than play Miami or FSU on the road ?
Tennessee would rather go to the state of California than play Boise St in Knoxville ?
Oh St would go to USC instead of bringing Boise St to Columbus where they'd pee themselves in front of a crowd that large ?
I don't even see a Vanderbilt or Miss St hiding from a team like Boise St.
Where's your proof that 10 teams have turned down games ?
I hate to say it, but if Boise gets passed over, they have no one to blame but themselves this year.
Margin of victory is not "supposed" to be a factor, but come on. Last night was their second nationally televised game since their opener with Oregon, and they once again failed to impress.
They escaped Tulsa with a weak 7 point win, and showed how soft they were on D last night allowing 35 to La Tech. This will likely be the last time most voters get to see them.
I'd still love to see them in a playoff if there were one... but I'm afraid that they've blown any chance of finishing as one of the top 2 teams in this bullshit NCAA run beauty pageant.
I'd probably end up jacking eight or nine times a day, up from my usual 5 or 6. I will suck a cock. You can't neglect the balls Putting someone's cock in your mouth isn't intimate?

Yeah, one of the big lies about the BCS is that margin of victory is not a factor. As long as human polls are in the mix, it will always be.
Looks like the brilliance that is Weis/Clausen is going to pull something off in back to back games against Navy that 44 or so other teams hadn't done once.
Fairly weak personal foul call on Clausen though on his INT.
