Loved the venom on twitter as they played Sweet Caroline after giving up 7 runs, two innings in a row. It sucks, Fenway is a great ballpark but enough of this selling bricks and commemorative bat shit.

The problem is the ownership group still lives off the whole evil empire bs. That's over. It died 8 years ago. Instead of running it like a winning franchise it has become a lot more about pumping up the ratings and not totally what's happening on the field. Let the bs sellout streak obviously end, the ratings have to be tanking again. Establish a legit baseball opps. Not a team president who spends half his weekends going to FA cup games or auto races in some hayseed town.

we might not have traded anyone for crawford. But we did tie up 20 or so of the 160 mill we appear to be limiting our payroll to. and we have to give up some draft picks too

Actually 2 weeks faster than last year. I have no aspirations for this te this year. But I'm pretty sure it'll be an interesting year.

yeah, I'm with you. I went into this year with no expectations. Having Bobby V as your coach can do that.

Ditto (regardless of Bobby V). After last year when everyone was saying this team was a lock for the World Series, it's nice not to have the same kind of pressure this year.
