F_S Doesn't Mind Telling You That His Favorite Riff Is The Infantile, Easily Played 10-Second Riff In The Middle Of "Incense And Peppermint". It Is So Incredibly Juvenile, And Yet It Epitomized Psychedelic Rock. It Still Gives Fat Goosebumps 40 Years Later.
Also, The Overplayed And Predictible "Baker Street", Which Fat Thinks That MikeyBoy Said He Hated. But That Is OK, 'Cause Music Is A Matter Of Personal Taste.
By The Way, J-Lo Looked Spectacular On Idol Tonight.
Does that mean that it was "THE ORANGE BOWL OF FAILURE?" Staples.

I'm not one of these wishy-washy mods that can't make decisions.

Yeah, no kidding. Nothing beats "Back in Black's" opening in terms of straight up riff-iness.

Black Sabbath- N.I.B. - The definition of rock and roll bass, along with Into the Void.
Jimi Hendrix- Machine Gun - Guitar and drums become visual.
Gotta add:
Blind Faith - Had to Cry Today - Clapton brings the intensity of Cream and adds beauty
Jimi Hendrix - Manic Depression - Simply because of the 3/4, the key to understanding the brilliance of Hendrix. The method to his madness. Not just a musician but a composer. An inventor.
Freddy King - Let the Good Times Roll - Wow. The best of the Three Kings.
