Personally, I hate these things. Whenever you move around in your sleep (and I'm a restless sleeper) its like Tsunami-time! Why do people still buy these things? Aren't they aware the 1970's are over?

i have a waterbed and i love it.my back is fine and its more like being on a raft than the ocean floor.and james, we're not all giants so mine is more like a mini tsunami. and during naked time you can be lazy if you want... let the waves do the work. <P>

i've had a waterbed, no big deal. they are nice on a hot summer night or if you have a bad sunburn. but if the heater goes out, the are so cold. if you toss and turn alot in your sleep its like sleeping on a boat in the middle of a storm at sea.

I use to have a waterbed but sold it because it was so hard to move around. As for sleep I didn't mind it at all. The waterbed i had was great for the Winter because you could heat the water and it would get so cozy.
