I was interested in having a gathering at a new york mets game, I want to set up a date and I want to rent out the Picnic area in the outfield which seats 100-800 people
I think it would be fun I would like to do it on a saturday afternoon though, but i will call them for more info..anyone want to go?

That is a great Idea sexy bastard,and youcan totally count me in. I am a die hard Mets fan. And that is a perfect area to catch a Alomar/Piazza/Vaughn/ or Burnitz Home Run... One thing though you have to have a minimum of one hundred people there. I know I tried doing so a couple years back. We wound up instead with about 40 and went to Left Field Mezzanine which caters to smaller crowds...if you are serious about this idea I wanna help you with it. Email me and I will let you know what my plans are to help you out getting the crowd. I am a volunteer fire fighter and I am sure I can get more than a few people from there to help...email me, well do lunch...

nah its not foiled theway i see it it would be great to go to a day gmae on a saturday, with board members and if they have kids they can bring them since shea has a playground for the kids in the area...ohh that is right shea is a "family" stadium unlike that other stadium
