Why can't girls just be straight with you?

There's this girl that i have a relationship with and sometimes she gives me this look that says "i'm water and you're oil."

I ask her to tell me what part of my personality nags her, but she's silent.

Maybe it's that I'm a slacker. She's always talking about what I want to do career wise and what I'm doing to achieve that dream, and I tell her "nothing"

Should I let it go? It just bugs me a lot.

First of all, a girl is not just going to come out and say you're a bum (i'm not saying you are, but it sounds like thats how you think she feels), unless she's trying to hurt your feelings.

With the relationship as a whole, my rule of thumb is stick it out if the good times outway the bad. If you are fighting and upset more than you are happy, chances are it's not going to change.

No, we don't argue, but I just wonder what's on her mind sometimes.

She so hot, but I- as a guy- actually want a girl to talk to me and tell me what's up.

VEGETTA - It's terrific that you want to share your emotions with your girlfriend. Many guys never reach that point.

Many women have no trouble telling their boyfriends that something is wrong with them or the relationship. Since she hasn't said anything like this there are a few possibilities:

1. She doesn't see anything wrong with you
2. She doesn't see anything wrong with the relationship
3. She sees things that trouble her but wants the relationship to continue
4. She sees things that trouble her but is unable to express her concerns.

Remember, just b/c you don't hit it off with someone doesn't mean that you're a bad person. Oil and water, like you said, that's all it is. You can't expect to get along with everybody.

So are you saying I should just leave well enough alone?

Alright. I overthink situations too much. I'd say that's my #1` problem

Given that you get along well, and she's unwilling to discuss these moments that you've described, at present leaving well enough alone is a good idea.
