Last night, Danigurle was banned for a post she made on the ONA message board.

Now I don't see anything in the rule book about other users posting about a banned user so Hopefully this post wont get locked and I wont be banned either BUT....

Since when did posting on ANOTHER message board about THIS board mean that a user should be banned on THIS board?

1st off, anyone could of signed up as her and posted that on the ONA board.

2nd off, It's hearsay. I didn't know since joining this board we were not allowed to have opinions about things ON OTHER MESSAGE BOARDS.

Does this mean if I have a conversation with someone online and it's captured and a Mod from this board reads it I could be banned? If that's the case I have a list of about 5 or 6 people who should be treated the same way as Danielle was because each of them stated an opinion that was negative to this board.

Nowhere in the disclaimer does it say that the OnA message board and the RNF board are affiliated nor does it say anywhere that a post on one board means banishment on another.

Danielle has been a productive and fun poster to this board and for you to ban her like that Just PROVES to the fact that this message board plays favorites and is not a fair, biased message board.

It's quite sad that the more I talk to people about the mod's and this message board the more I get disgusted and sick at the politics on this board.

Someone talked to me about how there is certain favoritism with certain members and the fact that they have been a guest on the show. Like they are some type of star. To me this isn't the case. If your ass to me and your on the radio or TV you are still an ass.

A Person should be treated with the same respect that you would like to be treated and their opinion should be the same. Do you not agree?

Yes Danielle had a problem with another user, Yes she didn't follow the rules by telling a mod but come on already . When your dealing with a known "suckup" it's kinda hard to prove against the fact.

Lets look at the rule here..

Wow Obscene, Profane, sexually oriented, threatening, and invasive of a person privacy..

Ok Since that's the case a good portion of the messages on this board should be removed don't you think? Heck the "would you rather" post is not only offensive, it's sexually oriented, and profane. When Inkgurrl Posted about my engagement to Danigurle That was a direct invasion of privacy.. It was a private matter and Inkgurrl decided to make it public. However she's not banned. And when Danielle experienced frustration and anger she posted a reply back to her about it she was banned.

Ok, I think I've proven my point and I'm willing to discuss this. But I have a strong feeling I will be banned as well so IM me a Jonkeu if you want to talk about this. Hopefully the mod's will have an open mind about this and let me stay.

I recently had a post deleted from this website. It was a hilarious Prostitute Nasdaq Report. Someone found it offensive and deleted it. This happening on a risque site such as this, where girls are named "F-Me Boobs" and Tenacious C", concerns me. Who draws the line and HOW do you draw such a line without seeming hippocritcal? I would like to post my Prostitute Nasdaq Report but I certainly don't want to offend anyone. But I certainly don't want to be censored either. Censorship is the reason many of us stopped listening to Stern because he became a hippocrate by censoring WNEW. I would like to resolve this issue so if anyone has a way to post a Prostitute Nasdaq Report WITHOUT offending the lighthearted, please lemme know.

If your Nasdaq prostitute thing was deleted by a mod, I apologize. It shouldn't have been, and if you could let me know who deleted it, I will speak to him personally.

Jonkeu, you can use all the circular logic you want. She was banned for the simple reason she went to that messageboard and posted "FUCK RONFEZ.NET".

If I walked up to you and said "FUCK YOU JONKEU" would you be happy with me?

If she was so unhappy here that she needed to go to another messageboard and curse off RonFez.Net, its management, and its members, then maybe she needs some time to think about whether she wants to be a member here or not. The banning isn't permanent. We gave her three months to think about her actions. I think that's appropriate.

And that's basically it. I don't appreciate people going around cursing us off when they have problems. She should have come to us, but instead decided to take her issues with a handful of members and blame the entire board ON ANOTHER BOARD. If you can't see why she was banned then I can't help you.

It's not censorship, its not bullshit posturing. She said "Fuck You RonFez.Net" and RonFez.Net is saying "Fuck you Dani Grrl".

And don't go quoting rules to me. This isn't law. I don't refer to Section 4, Paragraph 13 when I make a decision. She screwed up, I put it to a vote, and the ENTIRE staff minus one mod voted unanimously to ban her temporarily.

I invite anyone who doesn't enjoy it here or appreciate what we do here to please, by all means, join other message boards and vent your frustrations there. We're not forcing you to stay. But don't expect us to take you back just because you feel penitent about what you did wrong.

but if may sound like deep throat form x-files, "you are dealing with forces you have no control over" you are trading on dangerous ground Jon, people don't like it when other people talk about BANNED members. why? who knows, maybe they are easily annoyed.

it sucks when someone get banned since halfthe people don't really deserve it, but let it go my friend, great danger lies down this road your taking. take it from someone who was also banned from that site

Also Your point about go and post to other message boards. Danielle did just that. She went to another message board and posted her OPINION about this one. And because Ego's are a little high when your mod you guys took personal offence to it and decided to Ban her on this board. Who's to say if i go and post on the unoffical unoffical ron and fez board that you wont read it and ban me here...

It all goes back to what I said. I have convo's of people who cut you and the board down big time. If i send them to you will you ban those users?

Im glad that you brought her banning to a vote However when you present a one sided view of it of course everyone's going to vote for a positive banning.

i dont have a problem with you or dani, but i read her posts on oa.com and it was pretty fucked up. i dont know the whole story, and i dont care, either. because she wasnt getting the attention or enough drama here, so she posted stuff on oa.com, in hopes of getting as much attentnion as she could, which was wrong and fucked up. why bring up problems here on another board, especially that one? it's just stupid and immature, kind of like holding onto im's and emails from other people in hopes of using it against them. she was just looking for attention and she got it by being banned. is it really worth getting upset over? if you arent happy with the policies and rules here, then SCRAM.

Each one of them has a comma in between of it. Meaning you can not do each one of them.

In no way did Danielle do that on THIS board. However People violate these rules all the time.

If you wanted to make it such as you stated the rule should read like this.

The way it reads now is that we cannot do any of those items in general.

By the way, Jon, you should read this passage again.

So in other words, all that bad stuff AS IT APPLIES TO SOMEONE'S PRIVACY, as in "YO I FUCKED so and so and her breasts are 36D's and this is her phone number." You can post anything you want as long as it doesn't specifically point out a fellow member on this board in a negative or embarassing way.

But Seriosly- I think no matter what anyone says outside of the board shouldnt matter- but when that comment effects soemthing ON the board- thats a problem. If someone came to you and said "I was deeply offended by a post she made on the oa board- SO offended in fact, that I would like to terminate my screenname on this mesage board and leave my city in hopes of starting a new life." Then I could see. Plus you have to realise that this board is off to the point where alot of the fighting is petty differences and just trying to pick on people- people just getting out the anger the were too afraid to show at the last boatd meeting or whatever

It has come to my attention that some mods play favorites. I can make a miniscule comment defending someone and get a problem fom mods while other people whom they have taken a liking to can say and do whatever they feel like. Its not right, and its complete totalitarianism.

Im not saying we should all just be able to run around spitting and cursing. Hell no. But maybe the people in charge should not be bias, and should pay close attention to everyone if theyre going to pay close attention to some people.

Whatever Danigurl said on a different board had no problem here. She doesnt have any fights right now, she's all good- no issues.

I also noticed that the notion of the hotel party couldnt be called a HOTEL PARTY because Im 18 and God for bid someone should maybe have liquor in the same room as me- because Im just so innocent and you might corrupt me. THeN we werent allowed to call it an ANTI-PROM because for some reason "anti" is too negetive. So now, were not allowed to think for ourselves and choose what we want to like/or not like. We all have to get along, love eachother, and like the same exact things? Is that it?, cause Im a little confused at this point.

and NO JEFF- I am not attacking you. Your good people, you know I have nothing but respect for you. And honestly, I'd go crazy if I ran a place where people were constantly fighting, constantly being stupid, & acting like complete morons. Totalitarnism? Not quite. And I'm not denyign I play favorites. I don't think any human being can be totally impartial. I don't like what DaniGrrl did, and I made a decision that she has a lot a lot of rage and I don't feel comfortable with her on my board right now. The ban isn't permanent. Hopefully she will calm down and everything will be cool in 3 months.

well i mean what does that accomplish though...i didn't like the show because I don't like her...then everybody says I dont like her either, and now we basically come to the conclusion that this person is not liked by anybody...great...it's a go nowhere conversation...you have the people who do like her, the people who don't...fighting with one another, callling each other names, trying to prove thier points...you're back where you started...venting your personal feelings publically about a specific person has the same effect as makign fun of them...it just makes a lot of people uncomfortable...

if you don't like someone on the air...turn off the radio...that's why the al's a fag threads have started to die...how many times can we call him a fag...its not funny anymore...al called it too... "bla bla bla, im a fag"...in the end you only look ridiculous...

I never Attacked anyone personally (meaning I never said your an asshole or the like). I attacked the idea of a prom like party. (Why did it have to be a prom, why should we spend $500.00 to go to a party etc..) Never once did i attack anyone. I would like you to show it to me if i did.

As far as inkgurrl is concerned. Private information no matter what it is (from first names, HEY DUMBASS THIS IS NOT A FREE FORUM TO BASH A MEMBER OF THE BOARD.) is just that private. It was made clear to the select people who knew about danielle and I that we like to keep our private life just that.. private. She posted that as a direct result of an IM argument where she bashed me, danielle and the board. However She gets a warning 2 days after the fact. Danielle get's banned.. for stating an opinion ON ANOTHER MESSAGE BOARD.

Stating a personal opinion
shouldn't have to "accomplish"
anything. I actually DO
turn off the show on several
occasions and in fact haven't
been listening at all because of
the board drama spilling on to
the show and vice versa. I just
think we should be able to state
our opinions whatever they may
be. And people should be mature
enough to respect them and not
get all bent out of shape. So
what if I don't like this person or
that person? I don't have to. And
if you do, good for you, it doesn't
bother me any if people have
different opinions. We're mostly
all adults here, we should all be
able to handle criticism without
taking it personally and lashing
out. A discussion where people
have different opinions should
just be that, a discussion. It
shouldn't turn into a fight
because some people are just
too damn sensitive...

I'm sorry Jeff but i need to add to this topic.

It was made clear to the select people who knew about danielle and I that we like to keep our private life just that.. private. She posted that as a direct result of an IM argument where she bashed me, danielle and the board. However She gets a warning 2 days after the fact. Danielle get's banned.. for stating an opinion ON ANOTHER MESSAGE BOARD. Like I said before in prior posts This board plays favortisms The Fact that inkgurl spread personal information about danielle and I should call for a bannishment. I dont see her bannished. Dont act like you're Mr. Fucking Popular, HOW ON GODS GREEN EARTH is ANY MOD going to know that you dont want your engagement to be meantioned on the board??????? That's why if you were to come to a MOD it would have been gone and you all would act like children amongst yourself. BUT since you took it as a chance to openly bash a member of the board....YOU pay the price.

boards. Ivy, you make good points, but you give people way too much credit. In my opinion, only a minute percentage of people have the ability to take "constructive criticism" as just that and refrain from having a psycho-flipout-episode on whomever said it. I think there's a basic theory people should keep in mind when posting on this board: If you're about to post something that causes you to have even the slightest inkling that it may be offensive, against board policy, or misconstrued, DON'T POST IT. It's very easy to be an "upstanding" member of this board. For God's sake, stop using semantics. No matter HOW you twist the rules of the board, (as stated on this site) EVERYTHING that has been done by said member is questionable if you use common sense. Hey, I'm not bashing. It just ain't my place... but this is f'n ridiculous
