It was pretty awful, but he had a point...and it's more than Rory adds to the show...

You know, for a guy who never had a lesson in writing poetry and really only knows about that style of poetry from the detachable penis guy.....He wasn't all that bad.
I thought it was good, it had a direct topic, and even rhymed....i admit it was stretched at times but all in all it was decent.
and it's more than Rory adds to the show Rory's talent goes unnoticed once again. Rory is the only member of the show (besides Ron and Fez) that actually know production. Without Rory there would be no Instant Replay (the sound clip machine).

The Al Dukes "style" of delivery was fine, but the message was stupid, especially coming from him. Like R&F said, a guy who can't get from 57th to Union Square isn't the best guy to talk to about travel plans.
Next he'll be writing about why everyone should eat Devil Dogs and chicken.

Nah, I don't doubt Rory's a better producer, Pants, but when he's on the air, he's even more boring than Al...Al at least makes a decent target...Rory just comes across as that guy you don't really like but you hang around with because he's got the best car and his dad leaves the liquor cabinet open.
And what's with people bashing Al for never going anywhere? He's not saying ANYONE should go there...is he? I thought he was griping about Bush seemingly spending all his time lately anywhere but here in the U.S., right? If that's the case, the poem made perfect sense...

I think it was good except for the fact that al was reciting it, his voice is so shrill and annoying.

People who travel overseas betray the US? Even Walt Whitman would bitch slap Al for that.

He's talking about BUSH! Not "people"...there is a crisis in America. The president of America should thusly devote his time for the most part to America by being IN America...and yet when he's here, it seems like he's gotta be on vacation. Look at it this way: it's "proof" that Bush is a useless maroon and everyone is running things around him...they don't even need him in the goddamn country for weeks at a time during the greatest domestic threat we've faced since the Cold War.

Settle down Mojo, you're gonna hose your shorts. I don't remember Bush coming up in the poem. If it is about Bush, it's just as stupid. Presidents work just as well, (or as lousy), in Air Force One as in the White House. I for one don't need to be in the spoon position with GW Bush in order to feel safe. Would you feel better if Bush was going to the Space Needle for the weekend? It's a retart poem either way.
Actually you just gave me a huge laugh when I pictured Bush travelling the country like Clark Griswald in the family truckster, sharing a beer with Jenna in the desert and staying with cousin Jeb and his redneck family down in Florida. That is funny. "Excuse me, Holmes? Yea, we're from out of town." "No shiiiit." "I wonder if these guys know the Commodores?"

Al's good at that stuff.
Just cause i don't like it, doesn't mean he's not good at it.
I don't like Jazz music, but that doesn't mean those guys don't have talent. I can't just fire words out left and right like that

i thought it was stupid. If people want to see the rest of the world i think they have the right to. I dont think travelling to a foreign country means you are betraying the country you happened to be born in. countries are dumb anyways.
