Meatloaf and Liverwurst

I LOVE EM BOTH!
I have talked to a lot of people...and they say they don't like it! But when I ask them if they have eaten either...I get a resounding NO!
So this is my appreciation for both...Meatloaf and Liverwurst are the best...I had some liverwurst on my sandwich today...it rocked!

Well I've eaten liverwurst when I was a kid and I rember hating it. I love my mom's meatloaf, especially the next day, it tastes so much better. I'm not going to knock liverwurst cuz I don't remember it, but I'm willing to try it. ;)

I agree with JerseyRich. They're both good. Liverwurst with onions and mustard is good. Meatloaf is good any way you serve it. Meatloaf the singer, however.... <P>

Liverwurst I can eat on a sandwich. Meatloaf I can eat either hot or cold on a sammich with ketchup, GVAC-style. I'll never buy liverwurst, but I'll eat it when I go to visit my German aunt.

Do you think you could give me a few measurements with that recepie? I LOVE meatloaf, but NOT the way my mom makes it. She puts in celery, and other weird shit. But other people's meat loaf is GREAT!

If you can, just give me an estimate on how many Corn Flakes, what size onion, and so on I'd need per pound of meat.

Meatloaf is great. Gotta have it with mashed taters and smother it in gravy. Onions from time to time too. Liverwurst? Blech... Not just the flavor, but the consistency too...

I haven't had liverwurst in about 3 years but I enjoy it. Toasted Rye Bread and Guldens mustard.

I make a mean meatloaf. I use Peter Luger's steak sauce though. Day old, thin sliced, American Cheese, Kaiser Roll, Ketchup= Heaven.

Now I'm starvin'.
