Like some of you, this is my first message board (didn't know what one was before this). And honestly, it's like my own little world. I don't go around telling people I'm on it. I'm not embarassed by it or anything, but in general people have a really warped or negative view of the internet, etc. I just don't think some of my frineds/family/or co-workers would understand.

When I met a board member and told my mom she got all freaked out at first and my family teased me a little for meeting someone online. Just wondering what others think about the board overlapping with their everyday lives? Don't get me wrong, you know I love you guys! :)

I have in the past, but that was a while ago and a different board, but I try to seperate my "real" life from my board life.

They have no problem when it comes up that I post on a message board, but when it comes to get togethers and softball games they think it's weird.

There are other board members in Texas?

Edit: And Flamingo Girl, it's more of a slam on Houston's Big, Gaping, overused hole then a comment on my size. I am quite confidant and have heard no complaints.

Ive told a few people that Im on a message board that is affiliated with a talk radio show. And Some give me wierd looks and think I have nothing better to do.(SOMETIMES) Like Hosp said when it comes down hanging out wiht you peeps, some think its a little wierd. Then comes the whole explanation about how all we like to do is Post and party
