I was in the supermarket and I saw this stuff call "Mole" it was in a small Goya jar in the Latin section. On the label it showed burritos or fajitas wrapped in dark brown tortilla like things. The stuff in the jar was the same color as the tortillas but it appeared to be a paste like substance, much akin to marmite or vegemite. What gives?

Mole..... sounds like "mo-lay" ... is a choclate & peanut sauce that goes on chicken. But tastes nothing like chocolate or peanut. It's usually dark brown.

8 Chicken breasts
1/4 c Olive oil
1 cn Chopped green chilies sm
1 Onion; chopped
1 Clove garlic; minced
8 oz Can tomato sauce
1 c Chicken broth
2 ts Chile powder
1 ts Salt
2 tb Sugar
1/4 ts Tabasco
2 Whole cloves
1 oz Unsweetened baking chocolate
2 tb Creamy peanut butter

A Slurpee doesn't evoke images of the government's torture of the rebel in Orwell's 1984.

(For any who haven't read it - it's the book from which the expression "rebel from the waist down" comes from. In the torture scene, the guy was restrained and had a rat cage contraption placed adjacent to his head. The rats were hungry. A partition dropped allowing the rats unfettered access to his eyes...
