First of all that is my favorite show to watch. I watch it at night before I go to bed and in the morning while I am getting ready. The anchors are usually very entertaining and it suprisingly hasn't gotten old. I just feel like most of the other channels are copies of them.

Anyway, for those of you that enjoy the commercials as much as me, here is a link to the archives and you can watch old ones. They are so damn funny! Especially the Jenga one and Stackhouse making fun of Wingo's name. Enjoy :)

OH, I forgot the Big Buddies one!! You have to watch that one when they play bball with the little kids..."Get up, Your mom signed the permission slip!" lmao

The Pete sampras commerical is my favorite. I also like the one with Kenny Mayne and Lance armstrong in the basement riding his bike as the electrical generator. Funny stuff. Aggie you're perfect.

sportscenter is the money but i get heated at the anchors. trey wingo sucks, he's such a cocky asshole who talks so much shit about everyone when he's a skinny white fuck who probably never played sports.
that's my problem with sportscasters, they are always guys who were not good enough to make it so they become bitter writers. sportscenter guys are so smug because they get good ratings, but they don't realize we have to watch. it's like the weather channel, it's something some people just need to watch, it has nothing to do with them.

i like the commercials though, they are pretty funny. i like the one where the doctor prescribes flintstones vitamins.

I don't think you can really complain that you hate the sports anchors and can't find anything else to watch talking about sports. Fox Sportsnet has it's own sports channel, and so does cnnsi, so there are other options if you've got a problem with sportscenter.

And you're right that some of them probably have no athletic talent...they'll be the first to admit it. I could honestly care less whether they played sports or not...what's important is whether they say intelligent things or not.

That whole deal that players use when criticizing the media is bullshit. They constantly say, oh you never played the game so your stupid and you don't get it. Um hello the majority of the media and sports anchors have watched and studied sports more than many players have, and they know history more than most players to in regards to sports.

It's about intelligent comments and smart comentary, not whether they've played sports or not.

And anyway, my favorite was when they did that whole deal with doing the perfect sportscenter, and compare it to pitching a no hitter or perfect game.

CNNSI went under and does Fox Sports even have a nightly recap show anymore? Fox Sports New England hasn't shown it in a while.

I love those commercials.

My favorites are the Gigantic Wave throughout the ESPN studios and watching big 7'7 Gheorge Muresan dance.

Watch that big freak, "get down wit his bad self!" CLASSIC!

Dan Patrick: "So Charlie said you're the 50th greatest boxer."

Evander Holyfield: "In the world?"

Patrick: "In Gerogia"

Holyfield: <crushes his water cup in anger>

<Anchorman whose name I forgot, walking with former New York Ranger defensemen Jeff Beukeboom>: "Here's Trey Wingo he's the one who called you Puke-a-boom."

<Beukeboom stalks his prey>
Anchor: "Wait don't forget your stick."

Holyfield: "Charlie c'mon out and getcho whoopin!"

<Charlie Steiner hides under his desk in fear.>

My favorite is the one with Ken Daneyko and Bon Jovi, highlighting the greatness of the Garden State.

Thanks for the link Aggie, you rock....SportsCenter commercials are consistantly the best on TV. I'm sure I'll remember a new favorite after I download a few but off the top of my head...one with anchors getting turf injuries & changing the studio halls to natural grass is my favorite.

The Y2K commercial where Mark
McGuire goes nuts and starts
smashing computers, or the
perfect sportscenter episode.
