Dear Horde King,

Did you ever notice how on those wallet sized personal checks the signature line isnt really a line, its very VERY small writing that says "authorized signature", thats pretty neat!
Anyways, here's my acutal question: What does the "MP" at the end of the signature line stand for, becuase most every check has this and Im just curious. (In case you can't tell Im VERY bored at work today)

Thanks in advance for your shared wealth of knowledge,
Gwen

I just happened to bring my checkbook to work with me today and, yeah, you really are bored, aren't you? :)

But you're right. That stuff is kinda neat. I never really noticed it until you brought it to my attention.

If you drive home fishy, you could be the Catch of the Day.

GWEN - MP stands for microprint, a security feature, which makes the solid signature line look dotted when a check is copied.
