The callers these days STINK. Peeee-YU. Awful. Stinktastic. Stink-and-a-half.

That's what was proven tonight with the upteenth airing of the "out with the old, in with the new" show from 2001. The callers today are too normal or are just talking heads who have nothing to say and do nothing to add to the show. There's a few longtime callers, mostly people who post here, who can still rock the tones, but any of the other so-called regulars are just too controlled or have their own "agendas" that just don't keep the show jumping. Quit worrying about embarassing yourself or sounding "cool" on the radio or showing up one of the other regulars...get on the phones and make an ass of yourself, dammit! Billy can't do it alone!

The night-callers might think they're better than the midday-mooks, but us dot.com-er's still rule the replay. I still get a rod when I hear myself on the show, and I managed to hit it tonight. Twice. Thanks, boys.

I only remember the Wacky Wake Up guy calling in like 2 or 3 times, though I might have just missed him the other times...I'm sure his wife just finally caught on and gave him a swift kick to the nads, but man, it was great while it lasted.

But see what I mean about the old callers? They just wanted to be weird and out-entertain the other callers...all the callers today just want to rag on the staff, be on the show, or drool over the girls. That late night-factor was too essential...

If it truly is the call screener's fault that the phoner callers are so horrible then i say sign a petition to bring back Producer Guy from the late night show, for the first 6 months he's the one who transferred "those wacky caller" to the studio. If you can get him from his cushy job at 1010 Wins then i say go for it!
