people say nice things about me.

i am a very sensative person, i find myselfr to cry at the littlest things.

i tend to notice that when someone says something nice about me, like if they think im a great person, or cute or whatever it may be my eyes start to tear up.

one example is:
well....... you have no reason to feel insignifficant..... you are a great person..... and quite adoreable

it happens not very often but it happens enough to wonder why the hell this happens.
why does that happen?

But its so true!!!

I am a straight sensitive male. I feel the need to cry every now and again, esspecially when thinking about the compliments I recieve, even though they are few and far between.

The reason for this is because you might not be used to it (I know I'm not). Its works on an emotional level and the only way to release it is by getting misty eyed.

I don't take compliments well, I get very embarassed by them, and never know how to react. I tend to blush. So maybe the tears are your bod's emotional response.

I don't like pits, pits, pits, in my juice, juice, juice!

Extreme emotional reactions to relatively minor things like this is one element of depression and several other problems.

Very often Celexa is particularly effective in reducing this emotional sensativity to minor stimuli.

I am not sure if it is a pathology to cry when someone compliments you. Maybe you are just happy to get the compliment. I guess it is similar to when many people cry when they get a present or a surprise that they weren't expecting.

Angel Amy: I still do think that you should look into why you like getting slapped though. That worries me.

If I say you smell like ball-sweat and look like a horse, will you smile and laugh and be merry?

I am emotially hardened like a rock, but to the point, it is probably because you are a thoughtful and kind and loving person Amy, unlike myself. I don't mean to make you cry, but thats what I feel.

RAYMAN - Amy is a kind loving and thoughtful person as you mentioned. However, that does not mean that it is appropriate to cry without sufficient emotional provocation. Crying over deep feelings is appropriate. Crying over loss is appropriate. Crying over a laundry commercial is not.

yeah, crying over a laundry commercial is totally unappropriate. unless of course you have deep routed memories of Snuggles the Bear. then its ok to cry.
