Who says Ron and Fez are going down at all. Remember, Ron and Fez and O and A share a lot of listeners. Who's to say that Ron and Fez don't do exactly what O and A did for WNEW and save the sation. Ultimately, O&A bear a great deal of the responsibility for the fallout here. No one really wants to hear that, but it's true.

We can all bitch & moan about how unfair things have become thanks to the Catholics & the Infinity management....but bottom line, it was their stupid contest that opened the door for the Catholics / suits to come barging in.

I found it interesting that they did the Jon Edwards bit again today. To me this is a good sign, it means they are putting their best foot foward to appeal to a new audience. This was not a replay. Ron mentioned that he had a meeting with Viacom executives , also a good sign. <P>

The very fact that they are on the air is a miracle...and a very good sign.

I don't like the saveopieandanthony.net calls though. That has to piss of management, plus it shows me that Ron and Fez might just have nothing to lose.

We'll have to wait and see, but thank goodness they are still ON! It just dawned on me that I should tape their show, then listen when LickAss is on. I'M THERE!!!

I didn't find it offensive, In fact I realy enjoyed it. But then I hate organized religion, particularly the Holy Mother Church. However, I did realize when it happened that O and A would be luck to survive the backlash that would inevitably occur, and frankly, as professionals, O and A should have known this and kept a tighter reign on things. Stern, for all he is a pompus ass these days would never have alowed things to get that out of hand. The thing now is to support R and F however we can. Supporting their sponsers, and letting the sponsers know it is a good start. They, after all, are the real reason Infinity puts R and F on the air.

Don't worry. R&F haven't done anything to really piss off Infinity management, so I think their contract is safe. As for WNEW, that could be a different matter. If Infinity decides to switch formats, R&F will probably be moved to another Infinity-owned station.
