Hey everyone. I've been
listening to R&F most of the
day so far and it's really
amazing what they're doing.
I know they keep saying that
they are "just answering
phones", but the truth is,
they are helping SO MANY
people heal and cope with
the situation. I am away in
Boston for school, as some
of you may know, and I wish
like hell I was at home in
NYC for today. Not nearly
as many people here care
as much about today as I
do, I guess because a lot of
people were not touched as
closely not being from NY. I
didn't want to watch all the
hypnotizing hoopla on
television (not to say there
isn't some good stuff out
there, cuz some of the
events being broadcast are
quite valid and touching),
but listening to Ron & Fez
today has been the BEST
possible way I could've
spent this day of mourning.
Luckily for me, I knew no
one close in the towers, but
being from NYC, the pain is
still there. Ron & Fez did
not just come in today and
do a tribute show. They
came in to do 8 straight
hours of radio, only to help
their listeners express their
emotions. These guys
could've taken the day off to
spend time with their
families, but they chose to
do this for us. Let's use this
thread to thank them for
today's amazing display of
dedication to their audience
and fans. Ron & Fez, you
guys are really a class act.
God bless you guys. And
God bless America.
