Ok so my friend gave me this really cool mixing board for free. Now for the longest time Ive had this idea of either renting it out to bands who play at like local bars or clubs and hooking them up to the mixing board, then from the mixing board to my computer and recording them, and making them A CD to give out to other places to help them get booked. Now I dont have the money right now for a new computer, but I figured If I start out by simply renting out the mixing board I could save up for the computer. Basically my question is do you think here is a need for this? This being a mixing board at preformances?

<marquee>There's a place in the world for the angry young man With his working class ties and his radical plansHe refuses to bend, he refuses to crawl,He's always at home with his back to the wall. And he's proud of his scars and the battles he's lost,And he struggles and bleeds as he hangs on the cross-And he likes to be knowns as the angry young man. </marquee>

if it is club worthy, sell it.
do you know how to mix?
if so, try and work with a band you know.
you might like it.
good luck.

get your hands on a copy of sonar if you have a pc or protools for a mac.

you can have a lot more fun with them than a mixing board if you are going to mess around at home.
