My roomie and myself our thinking of hitting the Poconos for some quality time.. I would like to get some what of a tan and my question is do males go to Tanning Salons..We would like to know?

Last year, When I was a soph.,the Hottest junior asked me to go to the Prom with her.The only condtion was I had to go to a tanning salon. (I am so lilly white)

When i was at the salon the woman told me it was more common for guys then we think.

It's not the healthiest thing to do.

I have skin cancer on BOTH sides of my family. My sister got melanoma (the deadly form) at 35. The doctor told her that they had to aspirate tissue from her nose 7 months later. If it spread, they would have had to remove her nose. Fortunately, they didn't have to. This kept me out of the sun that's for sure.

People, it's a tanning salon, not a gay bathouse. There is nothing remotely gay about getting a tan.

HOWEVER, as COCO pointed out there are other reasons not to go to a salon (and to stay away from the sun as well). Tanning salons have been linked to increased incidents of melanoma (skin cancer). If you have a family member who has had any type of cancer before you are particularly susceptible.

Well, I used to go to a tanning salon. Years ago. I ended up dating a girl who worked there. When I said that she must get hit on all the time, she told me that i was probably the only straight guy that goes there. Just my experience. I no longer go there for the reasons that HK mentioned.

Well, I used to go to a tanning salon So you're gay right..Firstly (if that's a word) it's completely natural for you to be uncomfortable with guys with bigger mules who make passes at you. Just nicely say that you don't swing that way. By not making a big deal out of it, it will save both of you a lot of embarrassment and you alot of pain.. Good luck! But this is just my opinion and wtf do i know about this stuff.. <P>
