Why do all the construction workers whistle at me?
Sure they do..
Ice Cream Girl, if you happen to read this: I called a few weeks back when RF sent you on the "Mystery Date". I hope it went well-anything has got to be better than Al-but I haven't heard RF mention it since then (I may have missed it of course). When I called that night, I told you it would be a true "mystery" date, as I had not seen a picture of you. Since then, I did check out your pictures on WNEW site. Wow! You really are a most attractive young lady! Al is a bigger idiot than I thought (overall, though, I like Al)! If you would still like to get together and have some fun-nothing big, nothing set up by RF, just a nice date-please let me know if that would be cool and I will get in touch with you whatever way you like: give you my email or leave my email/phone # with RF or send you an email/phone call if you want to leave that with RF. Let me know. If no, no biggie-if yes, what the hell? Hope you respond. Peace out.
PS: I asked to be notified if I get a response...

Love letters have advanced into the electronic age.
I save IMs from my Sweet Baboo.
I also have a shoe box full of love letters and crap in my closet. It doesn't matter now (obviously) but it's good to remind yourself of some good times.

I would think it would be more romantic to get a hand written love letter. I guess I find email to still be impersonal.
i got my heart but my heart's no good
you're the only one that's understood...you are the perfect drug.

I send written love letters and cards to my wife every once in a while, and much more frequently by e-mail.
A handwritten letter is much more meaningful plus there's that "shoebox" factor. We've saved every letter written to each other.

I still write snail mail letters. There is always something really neat about going to your mail box and getting a letter. Also choice of paper, ink and words is very romantic. I have had great response to letters- unfortunatly I am one of those Hopless Romantic Latin guys-. I think women like it because it takes time and preperation. The smell of the letter with a guys aftershave or wharever can be very erotic for women I think. At the very least romantic. A wax seal with you initals is also a great touch... =)

i haven't gotten anything in the longest time. there's just something about getting a lil note of how somebody feels about you that just makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside. i've lost a lot of that warm fuzziness, though...i was just reading some old ones the other night. i used to work with my ex and we would pass notes back and forth to each other. it was the sweetest thing.

They are the best!! I prefer written notes/letters/cards than emails, but the thought is the same.
As people have said, I have my shoe boxes full of old notes, poems, cards and letters I've gotten over the years. When I'm with someone I'll send notes and cards all the time for no reason, like Jenn said, those warm fuzzies really are great :)
I just send mix CD's.
I do that too, but I love getting them, that's the best.

I also still have all the cards and letters I got from ex bf's. I can't imagine that someone would throw those great memories away

I can't imagine that someone would throw those great memories away
sometimes its too painful to remember
i kept the letters from my ex for while until i got sick of them being there. i just remember how what he said meant nothing so i got rid of them.
