He really does sound a lot
like Eddie Trunk.
Also, I thought he was
awesome, a real natural.
But he seemed a little
uncomfortable on the radio.
He's a natural talker and
has a good radio voice, but
he could work on being in
the studio. For example,
when Rory played the car
alarm noise, he was
alarmed (ha! pun definitely
intended) and he stumbled
on a few words/phrases
here and there. I would
totally suck ass on the
radio, but a little
constructive criticism
couldn't hurt.

He wasn't as bad as I expected, but I'm not sure if I'd listen. He sounds like he belonged on 770 WABC in the early 90s, before they became a bland home for awful national programs like Hannity and Savage. He really does sound a lot like Eddie Trunk, tho. He does sound bitter. Even his non-old school show sounded like

HEckler is one of my favorite callers, he always adds something to the topic. But...he was a little shaky by himself on the air. He would make a good straight-man, but he needs someone else to add comedy to his act. Sorry, Heck, you're still my favorite caller.

Love Heck as a caller, and he's ALMOST there as a radio host, but he'd definitely need someone else there with him...other than that, that was a delicious show today, old man.

I thought Heckler was excellent today. He sounded even more relaxed and at home than his first appearance.

I'll always be in awe of his memory and ability to converse on such a wide range of topics. He's truly a renaissance man.

I think he should practice more. He could set up a studio in his basement like Rupert Pupkin in King of Comedy. He has potential, but he is in danger of beating the words Brooklyn and Norwegian to death.

Heckler was better than any amateur I've heard, **but**, he wasn't funny, and unless you have a niche, like sports, finance, politics, etc., you have to be funny, or at least play the straight man (no pun intended), to a good comic. <P>
