We all know that DM hate the O&A gang and they know that R&F are friends with those guys... Now DM have taken shots at RF before.. with that fact how will DM lead into the RF show.. RF need to keep some of the DM listeners so they can stay on air. I hope that DM realize how good of show RF put on and are not assholes to the boys... Here is to hoping.. what do you think....

I think D&M are the perfect example of a big fish in a little pond. I don't doubt that they feel somewhat threatened by the guys, but nothing will come of it.
It takes two to feud, and R&F just don't play those games.

They will get along fine. R&F are team players, as are D&M. Actually R&F took a couple of shots first during the radio wars, but they were really only supporting O&A. They actually used to go on each others shows a couple of years ago and were funny together. O&A are the source of any bad blood. AS usual.

Funny Moe, funny!
I hope that if anything , if in fact Don & Mike and Ron & Fez got along, it could help bring Ron & Fez to Philly. I have been sending emails to WYSP and I suggest Philly locals or R & F fans in general send them too. Philly would embrace them greatly. Not to mention, imagine Ron and Fez doing a live show from Philly and going to Pat's or Geno's for steaks. How many times have they both been mentioned on the show before. I could really go for one now. MMMM!

ron's a fan of mike's impressions. and r&f dont care for radio wars. they treat it like it was a wrestling feud. if don wants to talk bad about r&f, let him. at least it'll be more interesting than his hosebag wife. i feel sorry for whoever has to use don's mic when r&f do shows from dc. and i dont see any crossovers between d&m and r&f listeners, because the latter is FUNNY.

Actually, they'll get along fine. Just before 7, D&M introduced R&F on their show to JFK listeners. They both raved about how much they loved R&F and Don stated that the co. came to him and asked him who should fill the 7 pm slot and he suggested R&F. Don also mentioned having them on their show in the future. So, don't worry about a thing.

I've heard first hand that D&M always liked R&F, and they'll get along just fine. I'm really happy for R&F that they'll be on LIVE where they used to be on weird hours on delay. This will be good karma for all. D&M took "fun" shots at Fezzie, and Fez used to joke about Buzz Burbank all the time. They'll be a great TEAM!

D&M often plug R&F, and before the live shift, that was pretty much the only promotion they got on WJFK. They'll get along fine and professionally...the shows are too different...O&A are just D&M ten years ago...

Does anyone honestly think that Don has a choice about embracing Ron and Fez on the air? Keep in mind that it was his huge ego getting out of control, and his jealous rage, that made him foolishly pick a fight with O&A. I'm sure management has made it clear to his humorless ass that he had better only mention Ron and Fez to promote their show, and to otherwise keep his rancid mouth shut. I find it amazing that a previous post refers to Don and Mike as team players! I used to listen to them often, before they went on in New York, when they were actually somewhat entertaining. They regularly slammed everyone on the station, except for the Junks. Don's ego will not let him get along with Ron and Fez, and once again it will be his downfall.

Now, Don, stop reading this and go do some show prep for a change. Or maybe listen to the boys tonight to remind yourself what a funny radio show sounds like.

O&A are just D&M ten years ago...
Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I mean the idea that Ona may end up like that in 10 years is awful. Ronn and Fez aren't as aggressive as your common shock jock duo. They're genuine nice guys. They barely ragged on Stern when he dissed them about a year ago. They'll go the pacifist route because its funnier. They won't forsake the funny for a feud. Fueds are cool as a short-term thing. But they can drag on (*cough* OA vs WAAF *cough*).
Don and Mike still suck though.

Remember NY fans, DC is representing the show now. There is a lot of D&M fans / O&A haters down here (me included. We all share one main interest, we love the R&F show. So can we put all this O&A/D&M BS away.

I think I'm the only person who actually liked (or at least didn't HATE) any of the shows. D&M to me was the least funny, but I still listened and enjoyed some. But I don't know how all this started, I thought O&A were picking on D&M in the beginning. Either way, for the last two years, D&M have loved R&F. (Though during the stupid fight--stupid on both sides--they took a shot at R&F because they seemed to take an O&A side--reasonable, since they were friendly). Otherwise, I think everything will go great.

I used to listen to D&M in their heyday, and I loved O&A when they were on, but it was so obvious that O&A were headed down the same road as D&M. For the first few years when they got huge here, D&M put on great shows, had tons of events for the fans, got along with the callers, and everything went fine. Then they started getting more cash, bigger contracts and more press, it all went to Don's head and the show suffered hugely. And it's not even that O&A are both like D&M, I can just see Opie being like Don in ten years so easily it's scary. All the guys that do that "in your FACE!" radio, be they Stern, D&M, Mancow or O&A all get too big, too fast, and their shows lose something along the way, the something that drew the fans in in the first place. I think O&A getting knocked off for a few months is actually the best thing that could have happened, and it'll make their show stronger and even better when it does finally come back, and then hopefully they can avoid morphing into D&M...

I too am tired of all this wasted time and space on O&A vs everybody. Really, isn't there somewhere else for all these people to go who haven't accepted O&A are gone.
I listened to all 3 shows and liked them but Opie's fragile ego is what brought all these wars on with Stern, Mason&Kolinsky, Leykis, Radio Chick and D&M. If Opie had been a team player WNEW would stay talk and frankly O&A wouldn't have made so many enemies in Infinity and would still be on the air.
D&M and R&F realize this is a business and will get along just fine. It's too bad we won't be able to hear both of them in N.Y.

Bennington has made his position very clear whenever ANY other radio personality attacks the show: "You do your show and we do our show." That is always the last we hear of any "Radio War" Ron & Fez are involved with.

O&A always took pot shots at D&M after their initial fued. They never trusted D&M to be true friends or allies.
Probably right, but D&M bit their tongues.
Then, they let their anger boil over and got canned in NYC. Probably as much a grab for ratings as anything else.
In the wake of all this, R&F were labled "assholes" and "suck-ups"!!!!!!!!!
It's got to be pretty awkward. I'm sure Don called Ron to sort it out or something- maybe even to apologize.
Of course, R&F can't mention "them" anymore, so Don's probably well chuffed about the whole thing. Probably thinks R&F are "crawling back to us" and will doubtless paint it that way if words are indeed ever exchanged.
Anyway, how sad is it to be so scared of another radio show that ISN'T EVEN ON THE AIR ANYMORE!?!?!?!?!?!

Ron and Fez and Don and Mike will get along fine. Everyone knows that they have a good thing going. WJFK has a strong line up minus O'Reilly. Don and Mike know that Ron and Fez will be very successful in DC. Hell listen to the first couple of days how many DC callers we have. It will be great when the boys come down here and do some shows.
We want Ron and Fez live in DC.

Don's ego is as fragile, if not more, than Opie's. R&F never said a bad word about those 2 old farts and Don's got the nerve to talk about them?
bottom line, all 3 shows use to be in NY, and only one sucked to high heaven. r&f doesnt need to be subservient to anybody at wjfk.

Don said O&A only liked R&F because they "kissed up" to Opie. Sure, a dick thing to say, but it's more a dig at O&A. Since the "feud", D&M pushed R&F every so often on WJFK, Don especially. Their show may suck, but D&M know R&F are good for WJFK.
