I'm sure that there are many RF Fans who listen to the show while working. How about passing the word to your fellow Union brothers and sisters? Let's just imagine that this is a prelude to a strike or work stoppage. Come on my fellow AFL-CIO members, let's pass the word and keep the letters coming! RF FANS UNITE!

ok, I'll say it. Not to disrespect a vet, but we're doing it already! We're writing our letters, we're making our donations, we're spreading the word to our coworkers (union or not) and friends. I know your hearts in the right place, heck, but did this idea really need its own thread?

Yes Chris. Union members are always ready to mobilize when threatened. That's always been the "Union way". Why do you feel the need to question this? Was it directed at you personally? The Teamsters and the rest of the AFL-CIO are a perfect model for us. That was my intention.

Chris, I have to respectfully disagree. And I think you're making a dangerous assumption in that *everybody* is still doing their part.

I actually just started a thread, because I fear that it's just the opposite. Maybe not for you, but surely there are some among us who aren't as into it as they once were. I was talking to them, and I'm guessing Heckler was as well.

The stakes are high, I don't think there can be enough reminders to do all that we can.

All I meant was that there were plenty of other threads already in which Heckler couldve made his suggestion. This board has always been about limiting the number of threads about a particular subject. BUT in retrospect, and after reading Gary's comments, I guess it wasnt such a bad idea afterall. This does indeed need to be restated time and time again so that maybe those who have yet to participate will do so. so..consider this thread "topped".

The members of local 4 masons and allied craftsman's of NJ offer all support and all members are willing to build a block wall around Ron and Fez to keep them in NY. I know from experience that Ron and Fez are popular with the construction trade and many people affilited with different unions are behind keeping them in NY. If they leave,radio is in the toilet.
