Damn! Seeing that just makes me want to cry. Nothing gives me the chills more than to see where there once was life and prosperity and Good Ol' Americans having a Good Ol' Fashioned American Night out has truned into a pure shell of its former self. Those of you who have seen "Roger & Me" there is a part in there where there is footage of present day Flint, MI shown with "Wouldn't It Be Nice" playing in the background. I damn near cried. What makes thing like this happen to small town and even small city America. I drive through Allentown and Pottstown, PA and see much of the same thing and it breaks my heart. No more 5 & 10's, no more FAMILY OWNED businesses. Do corporations make this happen? Greed? Not trying to be a downer here just venting.

People talk about American business destroying communities abroad and overseas....shouldn't we be worried that they're doing it here as well?!?! Look at Gary, Flint...even cities like Detroit and Pittsburgh...they're just basically imploding...

I just moved here from Pittsburgh. What do you mean?
The city was thriving!

This is just further proof that my Uncle is insane. Whenever I vist him in Pittsburgh, he's just ranting on and on about how the city is losing money and businesses are failing left and right. It'd be much nicer to know that that's not true and he's just an idiot.

From what I understand, Gary, Indiana, is the closest thing to hell we have here on this Earth. Well, west of Asbury Park anyway.

i was working in the ass crack of Spring Valley today handing out flyers, and I kept hearing Cartman singing over and over in my head. I caught myself humming a couple of times.

I drive through Allentown
i used to live in allentown for a while, and while i lived in towns around it also i would always chill there. it is really bad though. if you dont know people there its best to just steer clear. last year, allentown lead for highest murder rate in the state over philli. the last summer was really bad. i'm very happy my mother moved out of there.
