View Full Version : The Death of Instant Feedback

I miss the days when they'd read the instant feedbacks during the comedy pyramid. Now that they're in two markets, there's no time for us people who are radio cancer but still want to contribute. Moe made the jump from instant feedbacker to caller. Anybody else considering doing the same?

not me. i'd choke, or just not be funny. I always liked the buffer of ron/fez deciding if it was funny or not b4 reading it aloud.

Yea, I just changed with the times Al Dukes Fan.

They can't be like 5 places at once.

It IS sad thought. It was great to have them read my feedbacks, cause then I could just be on my phone line with the comp.

NOW if I'm posting while I listen and want to call in, I have to use my parent's line, which they dislike me keeping busy.

RIP little instant feedback.

Mine still get on when they are good enough. Although I have called in a few times, I still gotta say: Instant Feedback 4 Life.

I just get so nervous and I sound like such a TOOL! I was on hold tonight and kept forgetting what I was going to say and kept thinking I was going to stutter and almost freaked. I hung up. Damn, I need to get over that.

I write it down if it's involved Fluff. No shame.

If it's more than a little one liner, I want to make sure I get my point across, so I jot down a note or maybe the whole fucking thing.

I've done a few call-ins but under different names. I haven't done one in a while though, maybe next time I'll do it as Reefy.

I sent in a few Instant Feedbacks last night. I'm too nervous to call.

My last instant feedback was the night they went live here in DC. Everything dried up after that...I've only made it on the air as a caller three times since they've been live here in DC, and maybe twice that overall. Instant feedback, or if I were actually there, I've got a million things to say...but for some reason when I'm on the phone, and I can't sit and think or can't see who I'm talking to, I just blow it...

Instant feed is easier, but I love calling in. I started out as a caller, then did both...calling's a better buzz, unless Ron body slams ya. It's still funny hearing yourself on the radio though.

I've sent 2 or 3 but they've never been read on the radio (hmmm, i wonder why). One of my new years resolutions was to call ron and fez. I have a great prank to play on them...

They are reading less and less of them latey, but I wouldn't say it's dead all together. I was at one point only an IF'er but then started calling more and more. The more you do it the less nervous you are. I don't understand why people are so jittery about calling, when a lot of you have met and hung with the guys. Just pick up the phone and give our buddays a call.

Until the Instant Feedback link is taken off the WNEW website, I will continue to send 4 or 5 a night, whether they're funny or not.

I'm glad I don't have to embarrass myself (or my brother) if I call in and CHOKE!
