Horde King, I'm a pretty easy going guy but nothing sets me off like people in class who do not respect seating rights.
On the first day I get to class about 10 minutes before and find a seat. The next day I expect to sit in the same place but NO! Everyone in the whole freaking class decides to play musical freaking chairs and mess the order up completely and I can't have my seat!

No problem right just find another. The next day the same stuff happens. And again, and again for a whole week! I can't handle it! I need to have "my" seat. I don't care where it is but I've got to have "my" seat.

Do I have OCD or something or are my classmates assholes who should be beaten within an inch of their life?

They're all out to get you.

My college has a nice room for us MIS folks with Laptops set up. I ALWAYS forget a disc so i end up saving to the harddrive and have to explain to the mongoloid marketing major to move his retarted ass over and give me back my goddamned laptop. Every class it's the same F'N guy too. Goddammit.

after a week or two, people tend to settle into their seats and then not change them anymore (unless you're in law school, and then every professor makes you fill in a seating chart on the first day so that they know where to find you so that they may call on/torture you throughout the semester). if it's so important to you, just make sure to get to class earlier than these folks taking the seat you want

i can hear the laughs, when they find i've fallen down again

Bamanation - Most people tend to stick to the same area in a classroom. However, there are alwasys a few people who will just plop themselves down anywhere. If it's an issue for you, get to class a little early.

Or, follow this suggestion: Sit front row center. That's usually one of the last seats to fill.

man, it was ALWAYS the back corner by the window. asfar away from the teacher as possibly and something else that can occupy my time.

when i went to my tech school, i nearly died... there were no windows except for these tiny little things at the top of the walls. so it was nearly always the back corners.

i dont know why, but it was never the center of the room. it had to be the back corner. and also, it was the corner by the door so i was as far away from the teacher also.

hmm...

I'm in law school and the prof's not doing a seating chart. He just calls your name and grills you for the whole hour.
