i'm here, i just dont post much anymore.

Ronfez.net is about ron and fez. it was established to joke about and like them... to form a sense of community amongst listeners. to maybe even form freindships, which i sure have. too many people use this as a social outlet who need to be in group therapy or something. too many people take things personally. i wont use any specific names but some people are under the impression i dont like them, which is obsurd. the only people on this board i know well enough to dislike are people i consider freinds.

what i mean is the baord jumped the shark. people post stuff thats not even ment to be funny. every detail of their lives is put in a thread. the board is barely about ron and fez anymore, its about the members. i joined ronfez.net, not "the life and times of people who listen to ron and fez sometimes"

i still enjoy the board and all of its members, i just came to the realization one day about 2 weeks ago that its not waht it used to be, even moreso now than when i joined. SO i'm here, lurking... no hard feelings.

PS- i'm guilty of losing touch with the original mission of the board, and thats part of me kickin the habit. i dont think thats fair to the boyz.

what are you talking about? it wasn't any of those things when I joined. And I've been here longer than you. This board has always been about mostly non-ron and fez issues. Ron has said that on air several times.

I think that Craig has it wrong. I too was a lurker here for quite a while, but never really had much to say (not that i'm a fountain of brilliance now) but I found in here a group of people who in some weird way are doing things here the Ron and Fez way. From the weird observations to the infighting that can get pretty damn funny at times. And all the other b.s. that goes on here, it all rings of a similar humor and style that have made the show so endearing. Its one of the things that drew me to this place. It may not be all talk directly about the show, but it does relate in some way.

As for being tired of posting in endless threads that no longer interested you, why not just not participate in those, and create your own topics that steer the conversation back to what you want? Why not put the effort in to see if you can do it?

If something isn't right or doesn't go the way you want do you just accept it. Or do you try to make a change. People obviously missed you and your posts, so you have your fans and those who look for your posts. You could easily put an effort in to bring things on track.

Sure, I goof off a lot here, but under it all I'm a die hard R&F fan since day 2 and I write the same amount of letters you do to the big wigs each week, and I try to think of new angles to try and save the show. I think its safe to say that most people here love this show and are completely dedicated to it.

You do what you gotta and whatever feels right, but remember that change doesn't occur unless someone makes an effort to bring it about.

Now..I don't know what else to say, my sober moment is over and I'm feeling woozie again...
