MLK's b-day rules!!!!
On behalf of the south, you are all welcome for the racism and oppression which he fought to become so great as to deserve a federal holiday. :)

Yes. It will be a replay on Monday. Soory. I watched the MLK "i have a dream" speech today, and was surprised to see his dream wasnt about a board member.

We'll know MLK day has won full acceptance when we start having "Sear's MLK Dream Sale" or ads that say "I may not make it there with you, but don't miss the MLK Discounts at Sperry Olds."

Maybe someday we'll even have "Martin's Helpers" at malls, and kids will line up to tell them what their dreams are.

Weird.

I have to work to...damn UPS. If UPS wants to be known as "Brown" you'd think they'd give us this day, of all the holidays, off!

I want to wish Fez and Heckler and other other Lutheran a happy high holy day. I'm an atheist myself, but in respect to you guys, I'll be sure to listen to a couple of Luther Vandross albums, listen to the I have a dream speech, watch a Superman movie...and hell, even listen to a 2 Live Crew song or two.

So if you are a Lutheran, enjoy your special day "Always and Forever."

WBAI 99.5 fm. is playing all of his speeches today if anyone is interested. (In my opinion, up there as one of the greatest Americans.)

In many parts of the "Dirty South", today is "Martin Luther King Day SLASH Robert. E. Lee's Birthday, Holiday". It's so uncomfortable... but supposedly, Lee's birthday was a state holiday long before MLK Day was even created.

But no matter what they call it, not too many companies in this town consider it a "Holiday", because they give us MARDI GRAS DAY off. Although some will give the employees the "choice" of taking one or the other, basically to keep from getting AniDiFranco'd

Needless to say, my arse is at work, and will be getting drunk as hell on MGD!

Moe, I think Arizona reversed that after a huge boycott.
