I think the difference in cooking times might screw up your plan...
But I wouldn't mind a Kobe burger wrapped in bacon...Now we're talkin!

I don't know about that, Rich. Ordinarily I'm all for the use of meats as garnish, you know this, but if I'm paying $41.00 for a burger I want to taste the beef, the whole beef, and nothing but the beef.

I agree with the article in the Times, you're better off , if you have the time, going to Peter Luger's for lunch. Their burger is 7.95 and the writer wrote that it was much better. Still, this has been a brilliant PR move by the Old Homestead. <P>

If you could soak the Kobe in Guinness then put it in the Turducken, then soak the Turducken in Jack Daniels, then put them in a circus cannon and shoot the whole thing amidst confetti and balloon puppies, then I, too, want in on this Mutant-Feast.

according to the NY Daily News critic, the burger sucks. seems the flavor of the kobe beef gets lost in the grinding process or something. he prefers the $5.95 burger from Peter Luger.

I want each animal component of my turducken massaged every day and fed beer. That way, the burger will fit perfectly in the cavernous intterior. (Well it's cavernous after you eat the stuffing!)

Luger burgers are good, J.G. Melon burgers are good, but Judson Grill burgers (53rd and 7th) are best I've had so far (LUNCH only though)

What if there was a way to have a "Turducken and Kobe Burger" night at Bar 9? How 'bout that for a Tuesday night out?
