When I was a kid I had a friend whose mom was extremely hot. I used to go over to his house just to sneak a peek at his mom.

You said you had this fantasy when you were a "kid." Clearly if you are not of the age of consent, having sex with anyone of majority is inappropriate.

Assuming you were of legal age, your question is whether it's OK to have sex with her (as she's your friend's mom).

There is nothing legally or morally wrong with it. HOWEVER, all actions have consequences. At the very least this sex would destroy your friendship with her son. It can have other serious consequences regarding your other friends, and even your own self-image.

Plus there is always the possibility that as a kid, you completely misinterpreted the looks she gave you.

It seems that this MILF, was a childhood fantasy. Many young people have fantasies of this sort (or DILF's as the case may be). I'd think very hard about making any such fantasy a reality.

I was about 13 or 14 at the time, so you gotta remember the hormones of a teenager were raging out of control. Now, it's just pure perversion for me.

I know you're right in terms of the responsibility of the adult, however I guess it was more of a crush at the time. But I always wondered how I would have felt if I had made an advance on her and had sex. If I'd feel guilty for my friend.

There's no doubt you would feel some degree of guilt, even if your friend never actually found out. However, anytime you have the chance to "live out a fantasy" within the limits of the law, I say go for it.
