HEEEEEYYYYYYY! Long time listener and lurker here - I never posted here or called the show - but R&F were the highlight of my day. Gave me the chance to just kick back and laugh. <P>
Believe it or not, I am one of those without Cable TV and since 9-11, I have NO reception. Ron and Fez filled my free time. Kills me that they were let go after all they did for NEW. SUCKS!!!! So thanks to Ron and Fez! - You guys are the BEST - hope to C'Ya soon! But also to all of you - for contributing to the show (G d some of you are so funny, you should have your own radio shows) and for the fun I have lurking here. (And just so you know, I have sent all the letters and will continue to do so). <P>
WNEW sucks the big one on this decision and will never be on my radio again. I went to Comp USA today and purchased Direct TV!!!! <P>
Bright side (well, maybe not bright but right) Lickass is GONE!!!!!! <P>
I will keep checking back to this board to see what letters I should send and for info on Ron and Fez - Thanks again all. <P>

You're right. There's absolutely no reason to listen to WNEW. As it is, there is absolutely no reason to listen to the radio at all now! We're going to get another PLJ style station. I have that on good authority from a friend that works upstairs in WINS. He had the displeasure of watching the people take their belongings out at 1am Monday morning.

Infinity has thier heads up eachother's asses. New York radio has gone to complete crap in the last decade. Getting rid of such talents like R+F is a big mistake. This mistake of not making them part of a new format is just going to introduce us to another lame set of disc-jockeys that make stupid jokes (if they make any at all) and the same boring crap that we can hear on any other station that plays popular music.

Good job getting rid of the last great talents you'll ever see on your airwaves 102.7!

I can't believe that Infinity doesn't see the big picture. R & F have a RABID NYC/NJ/CT audience in the #1 market. If they gave them a little help, like putting on better shows around them, etc, they could've created a new WNEW franchise- a new "golden age of radio" here in NYC. Instead, they take the cheap way out to get a bigger bonus. GREEDY F*CKS! I'm sorry- I just hate corporate america.
