Where do you live?? Those are
high bills. My house bill was
$96 and apartment bill was
$65, combined, still less that
yours, and I like a toasty
warm dwelling.

I rarely put the heat past 65, and my bill was still $225.

Any donations would be graciously accepted.

I'm starting to feel a little better after reading this, I got my bill this month and almost died - $428.85, and I also never put the heat above 65 if even that high.

$185 and its still too cold. I like a 75 - 80 degrees.. enough so I can walk around naked, not so much that I HAVE to. Unless I have guests. Then I want it at 90 so I wont have to try very hard. Or sometimes at 50 to observe some impressive nipplitis.

I have a small 1 bedroom apartment (condo) with electric heat and my electric bill was $68.66. I was pretty happy since December's bill was $72.77 and I was expecting January's bill to be around $100.

FINALLY! Someone remembers that commercial from like 10 years ago other than me.

My January gas bill is always between $275 and $325, but of course in the summer, it's like $40. So what NJNG does, is give you the option to make your winter bills like $99, and then they will even out the difference in the bills you get in the summer.

You might want to look into that.
