I once was talking to two of my deceased
grandparents while I was asleep. I wasn't
drunk or high . Why did this happen?

Probably because you were thinking about them and/or miss them.

If you just had a passing conversation with them, no big deal.

If they talked about shit that didn't happen yet, then that might be cool.

My dead grandfather once visited me in a dream. I don't remember exactly what he said, I just remember that whatever he told me made me feel very soothed.

Much of what you dream is about is what you fear losing and what you have lost.

Most likely you were consciously thinking about them during the day, or you saw something that you associated with them in your unconscious mind. The dream state is when these connections are often expressed.

My grandfather came to me in a dream once and I was scared to hell, he was a nazi commander in camp Mauthausen.

To learn the truth you must learn this: do I want to know the truth and can I handle the truth?

i'm lucky and dont have any dead relatives. I do have a dead ex boyfriend, who i "communicated" with in a dream a couple of weeks ago. It definitely had significant meaning with things that are going on in my life right now.

i dreamt about my grandfather who had passed in 2003

in one part of the dream he was very old and frail looking but later in the same dream 'when i saw him again' he looked to be in his 40's or 50's. I must have remembered the younger look from pictures i seen of him when he was a younger man

My dad died of cancer in 1988.

One night I was at his bed side while he was sleeping. He started talking in his sleep.

When he woke up he told me he dreamed that he had died and my mother and his parents were there.

It upset me, of course, but it made him feel better about passing.

I dream of him often, especially when I'm going through tough times. It gives me comfort.

It's a big enough umbrella
But it's always me that ends up getting wet

My father died of cancer in '88 as well. It was a horrible thing to see him suffer like that. He had 4 small children and a wife to look after, my mother never got over it.
