It's been reported by R&R's website that Infinity recently registered the URL's www.blink1027.com and www.1027blink.com. Wow, TRY TO FIND A GAYER NAME!

I know I'm gonna get shit for this but I was listening to Stern the other morning and he said Steve Kingston wants to turn WNEW into a chick station. Something like Z100 meets The E channel. Probably something like Entertainment radio with Top 40 music or Pop

Oh this is gonna suck! I know this is obvious,but I'm at a loss for words as to state anything other. I wish they could have at least put out a station without a redundant playlist like all the others. Maybe someday they'll actually create a completely new station on the FM frequency,instead of recycling the commonplace.

And then a whole bunch of bitter people jump on it saying how it's going to suck.

Why not GIVE the new format a week? So what if it's not for you? Pop music makes money. Let's see what happens.

I'm not from Boston, I'm from The Bronx... I just happen to be temporarily located in Boston. And just because I'm not in NYC, doesn't mean I don't keep up on radio news. I happen to be quite informed on the current status of New York radio. And there's also something called "streaming".
