Why don't I see people talk about show segments as much as we used to?

There's a lot of DC listeners in here, and many of the NYC listeners are getting MP3's and other shit.

I remember when I was still able to listen. Ron and Fez would start a pyramid and we'd continue it in here. If you put the original idea in the 1st post, we could still do that.

Or they'd do something great and we'd talk about it. Funny comments of Staples. Paul-O crack ups. Funny guests. Sound drops. Hell, we'd go off on a 4 page thread about a shitty "Sweaty New Update". What gives?

I don't see that happening as much anymore. Why?

Moe, i totally agree. It seems that, from my point of view, the NY listeners were better at converting topics and bits from the show to the board. I remember when the DC listeners hated when the NY listeners said that the NY Listeners were better. And with exclusion of a few DC Listeners, the NY listeners were right.

What, we have to post EVERY TIME Billy fucks up now? This is a given...it's a natural part of the world now.

It's a force of habit. I could never really comment on the show when it wasn't here in DC live, so I didn't bother. That and I was never a fan of the "comedy pyramids", so the not-so-great ones here in DC aren't really any inspiration for me to try and bring them here when our threads are already basically "comedy pyramids". And nothing really "dramatic" has happened since coming to DC. Back when you had guys like Poo and the tense atmosphere at WNEW and the drinking parties, people were ALWAYS fighting and calling each other out or starting shit, or just ending up in deadly boring insult fests. I'm enjoying the show more now because R&F have gone back to being the center of the comedy as opposed to the freak show that works around them. You still have the usual guys making asses of themselves, Billy, Hawk and Elvis, but that's pretty much par for the course. I mean, Rory getting his eyebrows and hair shaved tonight is basically the most "dramatic" thing to happen here so far!

People seem to think that a relatively new show in a new market is going to instantly have the same buzz with the same size cult audience as the LAST market. Give it time...we still post about the show, but there's only a few dozen regular DC posters at best as opposed to at least a few hundred regular NYC/NY/NJ posters...things shall grow...just be patient...

Well, let me clarify...I LOVED the pyramids when they just sorta happened and were rather spontaneous...it was great...but then when it became an offical "bit", and they would be scheduled, and all the sound drops were added, it just kinda lost a lot of the "magic" for me...
