The Bad News Benningtons and Whatley Crew will be drafting at the end of May. Post below your position(s) of choice and playing ability.

The positions are the typical 9 field positions, and a 10th batter, due to the number of requests to be DH last year.

Yes, you may have non-board members play. Please post them in a <b>seperate post</b>. Certain people got lost during the draft last year because there were two in one post.

This is not a discussion thread. Do not post if you are planning to come and not play. Either of the above will be deleted.

I could hit pretty decent. I'm a right handed batter. But I can't field for you know what. I'd also need a ride to the game and I have to save up money now to get a jersey. As far as playing abilities go I'd give myself a 5 out of 10, as a hitter but as a fielder it would have to be 0.

Good player/batter/fielder/athlete.

Prefers Centerfield or Shortstop but can play any postion and have. Quick/fast so I have great range in center and at short with double play ability.

Switch hitter who can hit for power but more likely line drives and legs out doubles/triples.

*Much better than Norton or Eddie Trunk.*

I'm definitely in again.

I'm a decent hitter & can play anywhere in the infield or catch...but I'm a horrible athlete & cannot run around in the outfield...and I'm an awful pitcher (as we found out last year).

My knees don't work. I'm slow. I'm a terrible fielder. I lose my breath easily. I gloat when I win, and pout when I lose. I sweat and curse profusely, especially when drinking. I mock my teammates when they don't do well, but am unable to perform myself. I consider Baseball/Softball to be a sport for women. I'll eat and drink way more than my share. What I'm trying to say is I will be an asset to either team.

I was rustier than I thought I'd be last year, so this year I'll play outfield. Swinging that that bat and running shouldn't be a problem though.

Sounds kick ass. I'll be there.

I don't have much of a throwing arm so the outfield may not be such a good idea. Somewhere in the Infield or catching.

I was the Derek Jeter of my company soft ball team. Of course I was the 18 year old intern and they were all in their late 40's but that's' neither here nor there.

Count me in...I played baseball well, but I don't know how that'll traslate into softball. I can throw well and can play OF or 3B.

Worse comes to work, if there are any glass signs outside the place, I'll put a shoulder into it and break it :)

Hey Raven, I wouldn't say your old, just slow. Suit up in your hockey gear and play baserunning defense and you'd be one of my top picks. Add a little hockey to the game and I'd watch it on tv.
