WYSP is still our best hope

anything...coming in support of Ron&Fez.
Forget about blink1027, they're history.
WYSP is a great fit, with Stern and Don&Mike allready on...
And **a lot of us ** in central/south Jersey can get WYSP live!!!
Plus it gets them that much closer to NYC!!!

#1 You and many others here may not like D&M,
But they're syndicated across the US, while Ron & Fez aren't, and syndication will help us in the long run.

#2 You may not get WYSP in Morris County,
But half of Jersey does. And the more places R&F are aired the better the chance is of getting them back in NYC.

#3 WNEW **IS** dead to us, and there are no more apparent avenues
to bring the boyz back for the near future.

I think the best hope of ron and Fez back in NY is with another radio company, Infinity has no place for them in NY. Krock makes sense but they would have put them on already so that boat has sailed. O and A have been saying they will be back in 400 days so maybe the station they end up on can sign Ron and Fez also ( a station like 104.3 or 105.5,)

Not only does WYSP don't want an all talk format, but they don't even want Don and Mike. If the next ratings book is down for them, then they will be bounced in September and WYSP will go back to Stern in the morning and music the rest of the day.

Even if D&M stay at WYSP, the managment there seems determinded to hold onto their music the rest of the time.

Their way back to NY will either be one of two ways (as I see it); either another station will try the Male Talk format again, and bring back Don and Mike with Ron and Fez, or R&F break from Infinity and are signed independently with another station, and I don't see either happening anytime soon.

If they catch on here in DC, then maybe some of the other stations that play D&M and do well with them might add Ron and Fez like they did with The Sports Junkies - Las Vegas, Seattle, Sarcremento and some other small market stations.

Like it or not, if they stay with Infinity, they will have to ride D&M's back, which isn't that bad - The Junks sure did all right with that.

AND if Don and Mike really do leave in 5 years when their contract is over, then Ron and Fez could inherit that.

Don't get me wrong - the boys deserve a lot better. Their show is the most original and one of the most consistantly funny shows on the radio, and they have jumped through more hoops than anyone.

THEY are the ones who deserve to win in the end!

YSP doesn't do shit for me. I'm on Long Island. And WYSP management's not going to consider a letter from LI because they know that I'm not part of the listening audience. What should i do, drive to philly and mail the letter from there?
