Now, I've discussed this many times in this forum, but it's just one of my favorite divisions in all of wrestling. Many have doubted that this type of wrestling would not survive in the land of the giants that is WWE. What I think is the problem is that Vince is making his cruiserweights wrestle like heavyweights. If you look at some of the matches from the introduction of the title to now, the cruiserweights aren't doing as many, well cruiserweight like things. I'm not seeing alot of hig spots as I used to, and there doesn't seem to be too much speed in these matches. Thank god they brought in Rey Mysterio into the mix, and Spanky, whom I think is a great highflyer. Hopefully the return of Ultimo Dragon to Smackdwon will make this division what it was in the old days of WCW. What do you guys think WWE should do to make this division the way it was supposed to be?

It hasn't really survived. Other than, I guess, still existing in the form of the cruizerweight title. Which is currently worn by a heavyweight wrestler.

If you look at some of the matches from the introduction of the title to now, the cruiserweights aren't doing as many, well cruiserweight like things. This is a big part of the problem. Although the WWE understandably wants to cut back on high spots, seeing as they've been hit particularly hard by injuries. But don't let that take away from the one cold hard fact about the "WWE Style" - it's slow-moving and pure and utter punch-kick crap.

Thank god they brought in Rey Mysterio into the mix, and Spanky, whom I think is a great highflyer. Hopefully the return of Ultimo Dragon to Smackdwon will make this division what it was in the old days of WCW.

I doubt it will be, because Vince WILL NOT LET GO of his big man fetish. And as a result, the smaller cruizers will NEVER get the love or respect they deserve. Rey Jr. is one of the best workers they have in the ENTIRE promotion, but he'll be jobbed out like a motherfucking scrub to goddamn Big Show whenever it's convenient. It was just his misfortune that the fat cumstain legitimately injured him while doing it.

What do you guys think WWE should do to make this division the way it was supposed to be?

First off - get the title off Hardy. He's a heavyweight. He wrestles a heavyweight style. Take the title off him, and move him into the upper midcard - he should be facing the likes of Lesnar anyway.

Then book the cruizers into angles SPECIFICALLY for the cruizers. It's what WCW did, and a good part of why the cruizer division worked there.

Finally: enough of this jobbing the entire division to A-Train bullshit.
