I hope there's some stuff from the John Rutsey days:

Rush will release a live DVD in late August or early September. Singer-bassist Geddy Lee says it will be quite a production, built around the band's 2002 concert in Brazil: "We filmed the last show of the tour in Rio De Janeiro, and we're putting that together for a DVD package, which will be the full three-hour show."

The two-disc Rush In Rio was shot last November 23rd at Maracana Stadium in Rio. It features 28 songs, including "Tom Sawyer," "New World Man," "Freewill," "The Spirit Of Radio," and "Working Man," as well as the only performance of "Closer To The Heart" from the band's 2002 tour.

Lee says the DVD will also include a photo gallery, some never-before-seen footage from the band's archives, and a few other bonuses: "There's a documentary and, you know, DVD technology enables you to do some cool things with the camera work, so we hope to have a pretty fun package put together."

Plans are being worked out for a pay-per-view broadcast of the concert, as well as a possible theatrical release.

It's unknown whether a live album will also be released.

The Rush In Rio tracklisting includes: "Tom Sawyer," "Distant Early Warning," "New World Man," "Roll The Bones," "Earthshine," "YYZ," "The Pass," "Bravado," "The Big Money," "Trees," "Freewill," "Natural Science," "Closer To The Heart," "One Little Victory," "Driven," "Ghost Rider," "Secret Touch," "Dreamline," "Re Sector 'A'," "Leave That Thing Alone," "The Rhythm Method," "Resist," "2112," "Limelight," "La Villa Strangiato," "The Spirit of Radio," "By-Tor & The Snow Dog," and "Working Man."

This should be really awesome. The last time I saw Rush was 1996 and they blew my friggin' mind. They are one of the greatest live bands I've ever seen.

There's possibility of only 1 Rutsey song. Working Man is the only song they even possibly do off the first album. I'm sure you can find the set list from that show online somewhere

They don't close with "In The Mood" anymore?

Lee says the DVD will also include a photo gallery, some never-before-seen footage from the band's archives,

I meant that they'd include some footage with Rutsey.

The last tour to close with "In The Mood" was "Roll The Bones" in " in '91-'92. Then it was "YYZ" for the next 2 tours, with "Working Man" last year.
This should be a great DVD!

2 other DVDs comin' this summer that I'm really lookin' foward to are FLOYD's "Live At Pompeii" with extra footage, and The WHO's "The Kids Are Alright", which will be 2 discs!
