I have 4 impacted wisdom teeth, 3 of which are getting cut out at 9:30 tomorrow morning. the other is laying on my jaw bone, and probly wont move, so they are gonna wait to go for that one.

everytime i have surgery i always say "your mom's box" before they dope me up, or put me out. so that will be the last thing i ever said if i dont make it back from the drugs. u guys ever do stuff like that?

plus i'm scared about my face getting cut open.

I had some impacted teeth pulled when I was about ten. I had a bad reaction to something and my head swelled up like Charlie Brown's and I couldn't stop drooling for about a week. It also hurt like hell and I had to drink all my food for about two weeks. Good luck.

I say Your Mom's Box quite a bit myself, as well. (http://www.yourmomsbox.net)

Like I could resist the easy set-up.

Good luck with the surgery Craig.

Right before surgery I usually say something along the lines of "I'm here for the fusion, not the vasectomy."

I had a wisdom tooth pulled last week...just one.

Before I got it yanked out I could barely open my jaw and yawing was quite near impossible because the tooth had messed with my jaw so much. Dumb-ass that I am I went back to work immediately after thinking I'd be ok. Also, this was an emergency procedure so I wasn't able to give my work any notice of my leave. Well, I walked around with all the nerve endings in my face shot looking like a total f'in' idiot retard. Do not, I repeat do not plan on being normal looking or feeling normal for a good 10 hours.

I had three pulled. I woke up in the middle, and I puked blood for 24 hours straight. Good Luck!

I got mine pulled when I was 17. They put me completely under and I was out of it for about an hour after the surgery. When everything wore off, I was in my room at my parents' house. My father went out to get my pain medication, but got tied up running some other errands. I was in so much pain when I became totally conscious that I kicked a hole in my bedroom wall with my bare foot.

This is nothing compared to a friend of mine who got her wisdom teeth pulled by the same doctor. Her face was really swollen after the procedure (as is nbormal). However, a couple of days later, the swelling went down, and her mouth "didn't feel right". She went back to the doctor to see if there was a problem. She found out that in the process of stitching her up, the doctor inadvertantly sewed her gums to her cheek.

I had mine pulled yesterday, It wasn't so bad, except when they put me under I started dreaming about my grandmother who passed, and apparently I took a swing at the surgeon. Now I'm loaded up on percocet and haven't eaten solid food for two days.

how many times have you had surgery?!?

well let us count the times. first i had skin cancer. i'm upto about 35 tumors removed, makeing more everday. only about 5 serious ones though. i had 2 cavities so bad they had to knock me out (from my braces, nothing good hygene could have done... even if i had it). i had a procedure done after my braces came off to cut all the twisting fibers in my teeth to keep them in place.

on to high school. i broke my back, which comes wiht lots of orthoscopic fun! luckily no open back surgery required. not to mention a shoulder and knee scope. god bless football.

now i got to have my all time favorite: wisdom teeth cut out bc they were too impacted to grow in! for joy!

so the answer to your question is: 5 cancer removal procedures, 1 back, 1 knee, 1 shoulder, 3 mouth and one ass raping we wont talk about here.

I had some cavities worked on last week.

One of which was done withOUT any sort of novacaine or other numbing chemical.

That's an entirely new sort of pain that I don't recommend any of you experiencing. I could still feel that sadist's hooks in my gumline hours after the fact.
