Ive just got shit luck with woman

all through my life all I keep having is this awfull luck with woman. (no offence to anyone on the board that is) Its either they arent into a realtionship, or they have "baggage" Met this one girl a few weeks ago. I told her dead up that Im looking for a serious realtionship. She was all for it. Got to know her a little more and she tells me her parents are going through a rought time yada yada yada. So no bog deal we keep hanging out. Last week she doesnt call me for a week straight despite me calling her every 2 days and leaving messages. So she left me a voice message last night just telling me to call her. Non the less my land phone want working and I was at my beach house where I had really bad reception and really couldnt hear her. She proceeds to tell me that even though shes the nicest and sweetest guy shes ever met she's not ready for a realtionship. The truth is I wasnt mad when she said it. Only cause it takes me a day for the feeling to set in. At this point Im so tired of trying to pick up woman. Not to say Im turning gay but I think im done for a while. Ill look and stare at the beautifull woman but at this point I have NO confidece in myself for a long time

to start off telling someone that you are looking for a long term relationship may not be the best approach...see, if you want something to be long term its gonna take, well, time

when I first met my girlfriend, i had pretty much come to terms that I didn't want a long term-relationship b/c of previous failed ones....also I didn't know that 2 years later(happened today) I would overhear her parents talking about how big of a wedding they are gonna throw us if/when we decide to take it to that level

sort of like when you are trying to find something and you can't and then like 2hours later when you are doing something else you end up finding what you were originally looking for...that kinda thing

The only advise I can give you is to stop LOOKING for it.
