Original band reuniting. New DVD/EP in October. Awesome tour to follow!!!! (http://www.primussucks.com/animals/)
I love the idea of the tour. Performing the entire "Sailing the Seas of Cheese" album is a really cool idea. I can't wait to see them!

Les Claypool may well be God. However you can only slap so many times before you start to sound like every other bass player doing their best flea imitation..
great band. blah blah blah..

This sounds interesting as I have never (gasp!) seen Primus live. I saw Sausage. I heard Primus for the first time inbetween sets of GWAR and the Lunachicks back in 89/90/ Frizzle Fry was out and they played it 4 times that night and it had to be the most annoying thing I had ever heard. Also the most different thing as well. I bought it a few days later and never turned back.
Yes, Flea was great at slap bass but he has nothing compared to Claypool. Flea who? Exactly. Especially since Fleas musical integrity has gone down the toilet and Les still stands quite tall.
Primus reuinion is VERY cool but I am still waiting for the Possessed reunion. (Larry Lalondes former band)
No John the Fisherman video on the comp? I sure hope so.

I've never actually seen a straight up Primus show, but I think I've seen them a good 3 or 4 times at various festivals. Always a great live act, though Les' cred points Dr0pped a LOT with the whole Oysterhead debacle.
As long as he rips up with a live version of their stompin' cover of "Shake Hands With Beef", I'll be ohhhhhhhhtay.
