Everytime I hear Jeff talk about medievil shit, it reminds me of this kick ass castle our tour took us to in Ireland. A place called Bunrutty. It sounds like that, but might not be spelled like it.

Anyway, it's an old castle that groups come in and eat just like medievil people. We got this AWESOME potato soup, pickled ribs and come chicken I think. Great crusty bread, mead. And the actors actually put on a musical show in the style of the time. That was my favorite part of the trip I think. We toured the restored historical village near it, then went back there that night to the castle for the feast. Kick ass.

I go to the one in Tudexo, NY. They give you plastic yards of beer on a strap that you can wear around your neck. I don't get dressed up for it or anything, but its a fun thing to do in the summer

I went to medieval times last summer with friends and the horses looked all drugged up. One of them even ran into a wall, scaring a little girl.

I've been to Ross castle in Kerry. It was cool, fully restored. The only problem it was in the "Ring of Kerry", which is a series of tourist traps.

There's an old Templar Castle in Newcastlewest, Limerick. I recommend it.
